Executive Director, Transportation Operations

Rove Logistics Ltd. is seeking an experienced Executive Director, Transportation Operations to lead our transportation operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, coordinating the work of regions, divisions or departments, and establishing financial and administrative controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
- Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 37.5 hours per week
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with a large workload. Excellent oral communication, team player, reliability, and organized skills are required.
