About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director, Transportation Operations to join our team at Rove Logistics Ltd. as a key member of our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring effective coordination and communication across the organization.
  • Operational Oversight: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives and strategic plans.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a professional and diplomatic demeanor at all times.
  • Talent Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Financial Administration: Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and large workload
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, team player, reliability, organized, and ability to work in a permanent position with 37.5 hours per week
