About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director, Transportation Operations to join our team at Rove Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership
    • Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, and policies
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
    • Lead and manage a team of senior staff, including department heads and supervisors
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of transportation operations
    • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of transportation services
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement company-wide strategies
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
