About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Daal Roti Indian Tadka House. As a key member of our kitchen operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative and Reporting Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and management.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
