Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Shabad Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 warehouse staff
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods
    • Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date
  • Logistics and Transportation
    • Coordinate the movement of goods and materials within the warehouse and to and from external locations
    • Work with external carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations and performance
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement new technologies and procedures as needed
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Windows
Work Environment

Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be expected to work in a team-oriented environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
