About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Room Proctor. As a Proctor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth administration of tests and exams for students and applicants at the Algonquin College Test Centre and the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) Test Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invigilate tests and exams for students and applicants, ensuring that testing takes place per Algonquin College policies and the policies and procedures of Testing Services.
  • Set up and troubleshoot individual tests and exams each day, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  • Support first-time users in navigating the online test booking system and acquire a working knowledge of the testing platforms used to administer tests and exams.
  • Work with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting, providing accommodations as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in office Administration or equivalent field of study.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Test Services facility in a post-secondary environment.
  • Comprehensive experience in working with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting.
  • Work experience in a complex detail-oriented, customer service driven, computerized office setting.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or certification in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Office experience with a client database such as Clockwork.
