Job Title: Test Room Proctor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Test Room Proctor at Algonquin College's Ottawa Campus.

Job Summary:

The Test Room Proctor is responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of tests and exams for students and applicants at our Test Centre. This includes setting up and troubleshooting individual tests, ensuring that testing takes place according to Algonquin College policies and procedures, and providing support to first-time users of our online test booking system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invigilate tests and exams for students and applicants
  • Set up and troubleshoot individual tests
  • Ensure testing takes place according to Algonquin College policies and procedures
  • Support first-time users of our online test booking system
  • Work with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in office administration or equivalent field of study
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Test Services facility in a post-secondary environment
  • Comprehensive experience working with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or certification in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Office experience with a client database such as Clockwork
