Job Title: Test Room Proctor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Test Room Proctor at Algonquin College's Ottawa Campus.

About the Role:

The Proctor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of tests and exams for students and applicants at our Test Centre. This includes setting up and troubleshooting individual tests, ensuring that testing takes place according to Algonquin College policies and procedures, and providing support to first-time users of our online test booking system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invigilate tests and exams for students and applicants
  2. Ensure that testing takes place according to Algonquin College policies and procedures
  3. Provide support to first-time users of our online test booking system
  4. Set up and troubleshoot individual tests
  5. Work with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in office Administration or equivalent field of study
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Test Services facility in a post-secondary environment
  • Comprehensive experience in working with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting
  • Work experience in a complex detail-oriented, customer service driven, computerized office setting
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or certification in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Office experience with a client database such as Clockwork
