Job Title: Test Room Proctor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Room Proctor. As a Test Room Proctor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our testing centre, providing excellent customer service to students and applicants, and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invigilate tests and exams for students and applicants
  • Ensure that testing takes place in accordance with Algonquin College policies and procedures
  • Provide support to students and applicants with disabilities, including setting up and troubleshooting individual tests and exams
  • Work with the CAL Database (Clockwork) and Test Centre Online Booking System (TCOBS)
  • Acquire a working knowledge of testing platforms used to administer tests and exams
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in office administration or equivalent field of study
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a test services facility in a post-secondary environment
  • Comprehensive experience working with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or certification in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Office experience with a client database such as Clockwork
