Job Title: Test Room Proctor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Room Proctor at Algonquin College's Ottawa Campus.

Job Summary:

The Test Room Proctor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of tests and exams at our Test Centre. This includes setting up and troubleshooting individual tests, ensuring that testing takes place according to Algonquin College policies and procedures, and providing support to students and applicants with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invigilate tests and exams for students and applicants
  • Set up and troubleshoot individual tests and exams
  • Ensure that testing takes place according to Algonquin College policies and procedures
  • Provide support to students and applicants with disabilities
  • Work with the CAL Database (Clockwork) and Test Centre Online Booking System (TCOBS)
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in office Administration or equivalent field of study
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Test Services facility in a post-secondary environment
  • Comprehensive experience in working with persons who have disabilities in an educational setting
  • Work experience in a complex detail-oriented, customer service driven, computerized office setting
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or certification in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Office experience with a client database such as Clockwork
