Director, Technology Development and Delivery

We're seeking a seasoned technology leader to join our Capital Markets Technology division as Director, Technology Development and Delivery. As a key member of our Alternate Solutions Group, you will be responsible for driving the overall software development and delivery of our portfolio, ensuring business requirements translate into scalable solutions.

This role encompasses strategic planning, technology roadmap development, and application delivery, working closely with cross-functional and cross-department technology partners. You will lead the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of existing application architecture and business solutions to meet current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical leadership on application design and architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and standards.
  • Oversee project deliverables, ensuring optimal quality and timely completion.
  • Lead development team delivery improvements, including agile ceremonies and development delivery KPIs.
  • Partner with Capital Markets front office to contribute to overall business strategies and identify opportunities to leverage technology.
  • Directly manage technology leadership to Technology & Operations executive teams as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading multiple development teams in Payments, Financial Services, Telco, or Digital/Technology focused industries.
  • Deep understanding of current and traditional technologies, including MEAN and legacy systems.
  • Expert-level knowledge in design and analysis methodology and application development processes within the financial services industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to deliver first-to-market solutions for non-traditional clients in multiple global markets.
