Director, I&IT Architecture, Technology and Standards Leader

The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to fill the role of Director, I&IT Architecture, Technology and Standards. As a key member of the Enterprise Digital and Technology Strategy Division, you will play a critical role in driving transformation across the Ontario Public Service (OPS) through strategic technology leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a productive, inclusive, and diverse team environment and a culture of service excellence across the branch and division.
- Lead the development and management of information technology (IT) architecture and business strategies.
- Develop, establish, and manage architectures and frameworks to enable the design, delivery, and scaling of solutions, including enterprise target state architecture.
- Provide strategic leadership for the units of enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and standards office.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide strategic business advice.
- Executive Leadership: You are an experienced leader with proven abilities in providing leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary project teams in the development and implementation of digital techniques and develop long-term strategic strategies.

- Relationship Management and Communication: You are an effective communicator and collaborative leader with proven abilities in engaging, building, and maintaining positive and sustained relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Job Knowledge: You are an experienced leader with proven abilities in knowledge of I&IT enterprise architecture with an understanding of technology, application, and data architecture domains, experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps, and target state architecture with an enterprise mindset, knowledge of technologies and industry standards such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing, and other core components of modern IT infrastructure and digital transformation strategies, and architectural certification or equivalent job experience.
