Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate staff.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic security clearance.
