Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RED CHILLI RESTAURANT INC. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers, to ensure seamless execution of our menu and service standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, inventory, and staff performance, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player
