We are seeking a Financial Credit Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
The Financial Credit Specialist will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts and ensuring the prompt payment of invoices. This position requires effective communication with both customers and internal teams to analyze credit data and resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely invoice payments and serving as a primary contact for both internal and external customers.
- Evaluate credit applications by analyzing company credit histories.
- Assess the payment behaviors of accounts that are overdue.
- Review customer records and suggest adjustments to credit limits or account closures as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements to safeguard the company's interests.
- Reconcile accounts for customers with discrepancies due to credit notes, returns, or other adjustments.
- Compile and analyze collection reports to inform management's cash flow forecasting strategies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with credit management software is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
- Knowledge of financial systems such as Versa Pay & AS400 is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A solid background in collections will be beneficial for this role.
