About the Role

CWB Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering effective risk-based loan pricing and profitability management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client engagement and credit underwriting
  • Risk management and analysis
  • Learning and professional development

You will be responsible for analyzing and discussing terms and conditions of credit applications, ensuring risk-taking is within acceptable parameters, and recommending appropriate credit structures. You will also approve credit applications, prepare recommendations for approval or restructuring, and assist with account and portfolio assessments.

Requirements
  • Financial and marketing knowledge of local markets and national economies
  • Formal education in business and real-life experience in risk management, banking, or business lending
  • Solid credit adjudication experience and deep knowledge base of effective risk mitigation strategies
