Project Coordinator Job Description

At BFG Enterprise Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our Electrical Division team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by coordinating plans and progress, monitoring budgets, and providing administrative support to project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Analyze project proposals, collaborate with senior management to establish expected service deliverables and outcomes, and coordinate approved project plans, including scheduling, timeframes, funding, and staffing.
  • Administrative Support: Assist project managers with administrative tasks, including data entry, purchase order entry, and preparation of tender quotations and invoices.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Maintain relationships with client groups, suppliers, workers, and vendors, and coordinate work packages, scheduling, and work plan interfaces with vendors.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Collect, review, and submit weekly timesheets, conduct purchase order entry, and prepare project status reports, including collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 4-6 years of project coordination experience in a fast-paced and dynamic construction and related environment.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration or Project Management.
  • Certifications: PMP certification is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong electrical and construction background and experience, great understanding and working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, proficient in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of asset management, including inventory tracking and reporting.
