Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project priorities across multiple tracks and drive the project forward.
- Assist the Project/Transition Manager in performing project management activities.
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate client and internal meetings, as well as weekly status reporting and other team meetings.
- Follow established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Drive consistent communication and project standards internally and externally with customers.
- Act as a point of contact for all project administrative tasks.
- Utilize MS tools, including Teams, Project, and spreadsheets, to track budgets, schedules, and other information.
- Manage processes for contract management, financial management, scope management, and other elements of project management.
- Oversee progress to ensure goals are met on time.
- Create and manage project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks per the schedule.
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from the original specifications.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and external/internal customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline with an information technology focus.
- Ability to work in a virtual team, which may work across distance, cultures, and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Requirements:
- Project management skills and drive to coordinate resources to meet deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and plan, with an approach to apply to large-scale projects.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to different audiences.
- Ability to prioritize and manage work and trade-offs against critical timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong skill set in using MS applications, including Excel, Project, and Visio.
- Data analysis using charts, pivot tables, filters, and rules.
- Ability to set agendas and facilitate meetings, while focusing on critical path discussion topics and necessary decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate an outcome, with consideration of multiple factors and strong attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
