Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Specialist to join our team at Westland Insurance. As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for representing our company and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process ICBC transactions, including new submissions, midterm changes, renewals, and new Fleet status quotes.
  • Liaise with ICBC departments to meet client needs.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to Fleet Account Executives or Manager as necessary.
  • Service client needs through email, phone, or in-office meetings.
  • Help maintain an organized and clean ICBC batch filing system.
  • Generate fleet spreadsheets and data entry.
  • Deliver transactions and inventory to clients (as licensing allows).
  • Assist with Fleet department batching and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Valid level 1 insurance agent license (successful applicants will be required to obtain their level 1 license within probation period).
  • 6 months+ as a licensed insurance broker, including ICBC Autoplan (asset but not required).
  • Prior experience with ICBC Fleet, Garage, and Prorate transactions (asset but not required). New hires will receive ample on-the-job training.
  • Valid driver's license.
