We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our team at Simcoe Geoscience Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 16-20 engineers and staff in various areas of responsibility
- Develop and implement engineering policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major engineering projects and programs
- Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions
- Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5 years or more of experience in a senior engineering management role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal awareness and team player
