Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers.
  • Service emergency and exit lighting systems, including necessary repairs and upkeep.
  • Establish and manage accurate records for fire extinguisher inspections and related documentation.
  • Provide guidance to clients on fire safety equipment, techniques, and compliance with fire codes.
  • Perform site assessments to inform clients about necessary fire protection measures.
  • Monitor and report any operational issues regarding company vehicles and service tools.
  • Understand product specifications, warranties, and usage to better assist clients.
  • Notify supervisors of equipment malfunctions or unsafe working conditions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while on company and client premises.
  • Execute additional related tasks as required based on situational needs.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and health of oneself and others in the work environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to maintain a safe working atmosphere.
  • Utilize all designated safety equipment and personal protective gear as mandated.
  • Report any unsafe practices or conditions to supervisors promptly.
  • Engage in training sessions provided by the employer.
  • Work under the supervision of a qualified individual if lacking the necessary competency for specific tasks.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar position.

Technical Certification:

  • Certification in Fire Extinguisher Maintenance & Repair.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Safety Certification:

  • CSTS 2020 Certification.
  • Valid H2S Alive Certification.
