Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of piping systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints. With a rotation of 14 days on and 7 days off, and the first shift starting between July 3rd - 10th.

**Responsibilities**:

- Rig, fabricate, and build piping systems according to specifications
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machinery
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Weld or solder pipes and fittings together
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure proper installation of piping systems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Pipefitter is required
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and threaders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84 per week

- pipefitting: 5 years (preferred)
