Your primary responsibility will be to compile and maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, while also planning and directing driver assignments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure that shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and on time.
  • Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in our system, ensuring that our inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no-shows, and unscheduled arrivals, ensuring that our operations run smoothly.
  • Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments as needed, providing excellent communication and customer service.
  • Enter data into our warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler, ensuring that our operations are optimized and efficient.

Additional Responsibilities:

As a Traffic Clerk, you will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Requirements:

  • Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and work in a warehouse environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
