Position Overview: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong passion for retail and an eye for the latest fashion trends. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team and fostering a positive work environment.

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to cultivate a collaborative atmosphere that values inclusivity and strong interpersonal relationships. Your responsibilities will include guiding the team to meet the store's sales and profitability targets while also engaging in recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the store achieves corporate objectives and key performance metrics.
  • Oversee store operations by effectively managing tasks related to company policies, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Participate in the recruitment, management, development, and training of enthusiastic candidates focused on sales and customer service.
  • Execute marketing strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting shopping environment.
  • Foster open communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-oriented retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive team success through outstanding sales performance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is advantageous.
  • Proficient in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
