Job Overview

The Food Service Utility Associate plays a crucial role in supporting various essential functions within the Food & Beverage (F&B) department. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment while acquiring comprehensive knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods and equipment usage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and document the temperatures of food and equipment.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards, including pot/dish washing and thorough cleaning tasks.
  • Participate in internal training programs.
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform in accordance with company standards at all times.
  • Assist in promoting and implementing the organization's health and safety policies.
  • Support the enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and assist culinary staff with receiving food deliveries, guaranteeing that only the highest quality products are accepted.
  • Oversee food storage practices to align with hygiene regulations and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Conduct cleaning tasks related to service areas and associated equipment or furniture.
  • Prepare service locations and/or points for operation.
  • Accurately store food items and equipment post-service.
