Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as required, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Utilize various utensils, including knives, safely and efficiently, to prepare ingredients and complete tasks.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines, ensuring visually appealing dishes.
  • Properly store food, adhering to food safety policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to Aramark's safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation practices.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of various food preparation methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations, such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
  • Ability to obtain required food safety certification.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
