The Role

To support our ambitious objectives, we are seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to join our core Product Marketing division. This position will focus on enhancing Grammarly's primary product, playing a pivotal role in bridging new and existing functionalities to end users through a data-driven, customer-centric perspective. The individual will spearhead product launches aimed at boosting user acquisition and enhancing product engagement, significantly impacting Grammarly's extensive user community.

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will report to the Core Product Marketing Lead and collaborate closely with Product, Communications, and Marketing teams to position Grammarly as the foremost AI writing partner. This role requires developing a deep understanding of our end users and leveraging these insights to influence the product development strategy. Additionally, you will craft messaging, positioning, and launch plans to introduce new offerings and features in a manner that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with professionals to identify challenges, use cases, and preferred solutions in writing and communication.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure the launch of valuable features that drive business impact.
  • Develop effective messaging and positioning for Grammarly's products and features, ensuring alignment with target audiences.
  • Lead product launches, encompassing messaging, positioning, communications (in partnership with PR), enablement, and resource creation.
  • Work in tandem with analyst relations, customer, and competitive marketing teams to shape and respond to market dynamics.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS product marketing, ideally covering both B2C and B2B sectors.
  • Exceptional skills in product messaging and positioning, with the ability to translate technical advancements into user benefits.
  • Proven capability to influence product strategy through a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
  • Strong empathy for customers, with the ability to translate their feedback into effective marketing strategies.
  • Proficient in coordinating and directing multiple stakeholders, details, and timelines towards achieving specific goals.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, capable of deriving insights from complex datasets and translating them into actionable strategies.
