Leading Edge Earthworks is seeking a skilled Dozer Operator to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dozer Operator to operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced construction environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dozer to prepare sites for construction, excavation, and other activities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a dozer to prepare sites for construction, excavation, and other activities
- Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Measure distance, volume, length, and weight
- Operate computer-controlled equipment
- Understand the purpose, proper usage, and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS)
- Complete onboard and other logs
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Prepare accident reports
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Operate hydraulic pumping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to operate computer-controlled equipment
The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, dust, and physical demands.
