Position Overview:

This role is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and managing the branch location. This includes monitoring policies and procedures and making recommendations in collaboration with the Operations Manager/Director of Sales and department heads. You will track daily performance objectives and make decisions to ensure the branch meets its goals. You will also participate in establishing and maintaining the branch's objectives while developing a skilled team and a robust customer base. Your role will involve managing and motivating all direct reports, including training, while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction to internal staff, ensuring departments collaborate effectively towards shared goals.
  • Ensure all staff receive appropriate training for their roles, with updates as necessary.
  • Drive sales growth by developing, coaching, and motivating sales and support teams.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is upheld according to the required Branch Operational Scorecard standards.
  • Participate in customer interactions for sales and technical support as needed.
  • Assist with warehouse and facility planning.
  • Manage vendor relations and planning.
  • Engage in strategic and future management planning.
  • Oversee pricing maintenance.
  • Participate in and/or recommend product training.
  • Resolve disputes involving customers, staff, or the company.
  • Maintain and expand business operations.
  • Conduct outside sales by developing key customer relationships through regular site visits.
  • Manage the Inside Sales team.
  • Oversee administrative and customer service functions within the branch.
  • Determine sales projections for the fiscal year and monitor progress.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings.
  • Address day-to-day personnel issues requiring management decisions.
  • Represent the company within the local and industry community.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education & Training:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • College/University Diploma is required (preferably in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a Technical focus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Sales/Distribution environment. Previous management experience is essential.
