Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our team and drive business growth in our Western Canada region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing, maintaining, and controlling our branch operations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide guidance, direction, and monitoring of internal staff to ensure departments are working effectively towards common goals.
    • Ensure all staff are properly trained for their roles and that training is updated as required.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Grow sales through developing, coaching, and motivating sales and support teams.
    • Maintain inventory levels at optimum to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Satisfaction
    • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at the required Branch Operational Scorecard level.
    • Participate in customer calls for sales and technical support as needed.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Assist with warehouse and physical plant planning to optimize operations.
    • Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Participate in strategic and future management planning to drive business growth.
    • Maintain and grow business through outside sales and key account development.
  • Administrative and CSR Functions
    • Manage administrative and customer service representative functions within the branch.
    • Determine sales projections for the fiscal year and track progress.
  • Communication and Representation
    • Conduct weekly sales meetings to review progress and set goals.
    • Represent the company to the local and industry community.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma required.
    • College or university diploma in business, sales and marketing, or a technical field preferred.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in a sales and distribution environment, with previous management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
