Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager who will oversee the sales processes and cultivate relationships with both new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and someone who can adeptly navigate complex situations while embracing uncertainty. Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to optimize growth and profitability
  • Serve as the primary commercial liaison with clients
  • Achieve annual sales objectives as outlined by the Director of Sales
  • Deliver weekly sales forecasts to the Director of Sales
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, securing orders through value-based selling
  • Manage customer negotiations as necessary
  • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base while retaining current clients
  • Pinpoint opportunities for facility upgrades and other product offerings
  • Qualify all prospects to ensure efficient use of company resources
  • Explore new revenue streams
  • Promote all marketed products and services to meet sales goals
  • Gather details for quotations and coordinate site visits with estimators
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance product distribution that aligns with customer needs
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
  • Work with quoting personnel to guarantee precision
  • Oversee all sales activities within a designated geographic area
  • Report market trends to management
  • Enhance marketing presence
  • Increase awareness of product and service offerings within the territory
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows
  • Implement promotional initiatives to support sales and team objectives
  • Represent Advance Millwrights professionally through corporate branding
  • Utilize social selling techniques to expand the company’s reach
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities through CRM
  • Document sales efforts in CRM
  • Track quotes through the sales cycle to secure orders
  • Forecast sales projections weekly via CRM
  • Record win/loss notes in CRM
  • Direct customer inquiries to relevant expertise within the company
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including timely follow-ups and quotations
  • Ensure prompt payment of customer invoices
  • Manage customer contacts and develop specific plans to measure results
  • Conduct weekly visits to both new and existing clients
  • Establish and maintain target accounts within the sales territory
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and clients for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT)
  • Communicate new marketing trends and developments to management
  • Create a detailed territory plan tracking all meetings and site visits
  • Build relationships with OEMs to secure installation projects
  • Develop partnerships with potential strategic allies in related industries
  • Always represent the company in a professional manner, adhering to company values
  • Be prepared for overtime and on-call duties as required by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education
  • 3 to 5 years of consultative sales experience
  • Completion of a Sales Training Course or willingness to undertake training
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to initiate cold calls
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Comfortable discussing financial matters with clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to create and deliver professional presentations to senior management
