Opportunity Overview

In the role of Account Manager, you will play a crucial part in driving and enhancing our business growth by pinpointing and assessing opportunities for customer-centric solutions that are economically viable. This position will be instrumental in defining significant business prospects for the Production Chemical division of Secure Energy Services.

This position will cater to the surrounding regions.

Team Dynamics

The Production Chemical division consists of dedicated professionals who excel in personalized sales interactions. The team is skilled in problem-solving and is deeply committed to customer satisfaction. Each member demonstrates a robust work ethic and a proactive approach, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client support.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role, serving the surrounding regions.

Daily Responsibilities

The duties of this position encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Formulating strategies to optimize account profitability while creating, executing, and managing an account plan aligned with the business strategy.
  • Overseeing inventory levels, placing orders, and delivering products as necessary.
  • Identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Regularly evaluating customer service standards to guarantee clients receive superior service.
  • Engaging with customers and prospects to personally drive sales and cultivate strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Implementing initiatives to identify potential clients and conducting cold sales outreach.
  • Anticipating current and future customer requirements.
  • Continuously acquiring new knowledge and developing innovative strategies.
  • Providing weekly updates to sales, operations, and technical teams regarding customer activities, plans, and future business prospects.
  • Utilizing basic laboratory equipment to assess and qualify products for field applications.
  • Engaging in community relations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School diploma or General Education Diploma; additional post-secondary education is advantageous.
  • Experience in oilfield operations is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in Chemical Sales is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce technical reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence, motivation, and a professional demeanor with sound business acumen.
  • Familiarity with production processes utilized in Canada is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and customer service abilities.
