Job Summary:

Securiguard is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Professional to join our team in a key role. As a Security Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering Telephone Calls: Respond to incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Recording and Reporting Accurate Details: Document and report all incidents, accidents, and security-related events in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Greeting and Screening Visitors: Welcome and screen all visitors, ensuring that they are authorized to be on the premises.
  • Foot Patrols and Standing Duties: Conduct regular foot patrols of the premises, observing and reporting any security-related issues or concerns.
  • Representing Securiguard: Act as a professional representative of Securiguard, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our clients' needs are met.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Alberta Security License: Possess a valid Alberta Security License.
  • First Aid/CPR: Hold a current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • WHIMS: Possess a valid WHIMS certification.
  • Previous Security Experience: Have previous experience in a security-related role.
  • Flexibility: Be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
