Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth, including promoting products and services to customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales data, customer feedback, and employee performance metrics.
    • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field an asset.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and customer feedback.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to cash handling, customer service, and sales activities. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
