Motel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Lacombe Motor Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff in various areas of responsibility, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Client Service: Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Operations Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Staff Development: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, and flexibility.
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
