Join Our Team as an Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team at Points. As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile and analyze Funds Receivable from Payment Processors, a key SOX control.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoice creation, deposit application, collections, and AR Aging reports.
  • Prepare and analyze various Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Timely prepare and review Partner Remittance Summary and Remittances, ensuring compliance with contractual payment terms.
  • Prepare and calculate revenue and direct costs for one of our products, and prepare related journal entries.
  • Assist with financial close procedures for each month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
  • Ensure compliance with related SOX controls and processes, and follow Internal Controls in your area of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • University or college degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to work across all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues independently and present recommendations to your supervisor.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure within tight timelines.
