Position Overview

The Parts Counter Clerk plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating the flow of automotive parts and accessories. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and relay messages effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office, supply area, or warehouse.
  • Set up attractive displays for retail parts and accessories.
  • Provide guidance on the use and suitability of various goods or parts.
  • Process cash transactions accurately.
  • Identify, label, and catalog incoming items efficiently.
  • Keep detailed records within the inventory control system.
  • Prepare and monitor work orders diligently.
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
  • Sell spare and replacement parts to customers.
