Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Canadian Tire #635. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and supplies, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Set up displays of retail parts and accessories, advise customers on product use and appropriateness, and promote sales of parts and accessories.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a retail or sales environment is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
