Type of position: Permanent and full time

We are seeking a Plant Controller to join our team, your key responsibilities will be:
  • Prepare, analyze, and present operating plant results, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Develop and present financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on product pricing, costing, and margins, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Support month-end close activities, ensuring journal entries are accurate and completed on time.
  • Implement and manage financial/operations KPIs and strategic analysis to support plant leadership in their decisions.
  • Maintain detailed product costing information, serving as a basis for various analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, maintaining the trust of stakeholders.
  • Implement and manage internal controls, adhering to financial policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance on the year-end audit and preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Prepare the plant forecast, analyze discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Responsible for preparing plant financial statements and ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
  • Assign and authorize purchase orders and invoices, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Conduct capital project evaluations using appropriate financial KPIs, driving informed investment decisions.

A short list of essentials:

  • CPA professional accounting designation is required.
  • Minimum of (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Related bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing accounting and financial management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, leading people through change.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with advanced MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
