About the Role

Cameleon RH is seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present operating plant results to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various internal teams on product pricing, costing, and margins.
  • Month-End Close: Support month-end close activities, including journal entries.
  • Financial KPIs and Strategy: Implement and follow financial/operations KPIs and strategic analysis to support plant leadership in their decisions.
  • Product Costing: Maintain detailed product costing information as a basis for various analysis and decision-making.
  • Financial Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and manage internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Year-End Audit: Collaborate with corporate finance on the year-end audit and preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Plant Forecasting: Prepare the plant forecast, analyze any discrepancies, and make recommendations.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare plant financial statements and ensure that all reporting requirements are met.
  • Purchase Orders and Invoices: Assign and authorize purchase orders and invoices with plant manager approval.
  • Capital Project Evaluations: Conduct capital project evaluations using appropriate financial KPIs.
Requirements
  • Professional Accounting Designation: CPA professional accounting designation is required.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: Related bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Manufacturing Accounting Expertise: Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing accounting and financial management.
  • Leadership and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead people through change.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with advanced MS Excel skills.
  • ERP Knowledge: Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
