Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Services A.P. Guay Inc. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test electrical equipment and systems
  • Assist in design, development, and testing of electrical systems
  • Inspect and test electrical components and systems
  • Calibrate and maintain electrical equipment and instruments
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Information Systems Professional (ISP) certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Experience with electrical motors, generators, drives, and motor controls
  • Experience with networking hardware, extranet, internet, servers, and programming software
Work Environment

As an Electrical Technician at Services A.P. Guay Inc., you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of electrical systems and equipment. You will be required to work outdoors and in various locations.
