Position Overview: We are seeking a Customer Service Advocate to manage the operational administration of our facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless client interactions and logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate client appointments and manage scheduling adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of waste receipts and shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all relevant transportation and environmental regulations regarding waste management.
- Organize and complete all required documentation, including analytical reports and work orders, on a daily basis.
- Prepare work orders based on service requests and ensure accurate billing post-service execution.
- Address general inquiries from customers and direct them to appropriate resources.
- Manage customer accounts and maintain waste classification and pricing profiles in our CRM system.
- Generate reports on waste diversion and other metrics for management and clients as needed.
- Perform general office administration tasks, including electronic and physical filing systems.
- Assist with procurement and purchasing activities as required.
- Monitor inventory levels, delivery schedules, and transportation efficiency.
- Oversee warehouse organization, cataloging of goods, and shipment processing.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ISO standards.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- A university degree or college diploma, preferably in environmental science or transportation-related fields.
- Prior experience in environmental services or knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of customer service or office administration experience.
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written English.
- Ability to independently resolve issues and know when to escalate matters to management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
