Job Summary

This part-time regular professor position is available at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a course on indigenous legal order and constitutional law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a course on indigenous legal order and constitutional law, including the foundations and sources of indigenous legal orders and an introduction to Canadian constitutional law, including the rights of indigenous peoples in Canadian law.
  • Develop and implement a course syllabus that meets the needs of students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and programs.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in indigenous legal order and constitutional law.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
