About the Role

CDA-AMC is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Engagement Specialist to join our Patient, Clinician, and Industry Engagement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization is actively and effectively engaging key partners to integrate the perspectives of patients, caregivers, clinicians, industry, and associations into our work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a network of key partners, including patient, caregiver, clinician, industry, and association representatives, to facilitate discussions and sharing of insights and perspectives.
  • Seek input and experiences from key partners on health technologies eligible for review.
  • Support project teams and expert committee members in incorporating clinician, industry, patient, and caregiver perspectives into our work.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing engagement tools and processes to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor new project submissions, respond to complex queries from partners, and identify and escalate issues and concerns.
  • Provide partner engagement updates and status reports to leadership and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant undergraduate degree and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Sound judgment and interpersonal skills when interacting with external partners and dealing with sensitive matters.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system and health technology, and ability to identify and champion external voices and perspectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal teams and groups.
  • Demonstrated skill in synthesizing information and communicating with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities and timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Superior organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
