Banquet Event Coordinator

At Westwood Plateau, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team. As a Banquet Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of events in our banquet department.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the setup, service, and breakdown of events in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervise and train banquet staff to ensure they are providing exceptional service to our guests.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to the F&B Management team regarding event performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely charging of event expenses to the correct accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B Management team.
- Previous experience in banquet and/or restaurant supervision in a hotel and/or restaurant setting.
- Serving It Right license is mandatory; Foodsafe certification is an asset.
- Reliable transportation is required, as public transit is limited in the area.
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including one weekend day (Friday-Sunday).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be 18+ years old due to alcohol service requirements.
