About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Team Lead to join our team at Healthteam Holdings. As a key member of our community pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and technicians to provide exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and oversight to the pharmacy team, ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Medication Management: Ensure that all medications are stored, dispensed, and managed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and supportive team environment, providing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and safety in the pharmacy, ensuring that all procedures and protocols are followed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Certifications: Certification in drug administration by injection and intranasal route, Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification, and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
