Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital/Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities in the Emergency Department.
  • Provide nursing care, assistance, and relief to all nursing areas, including ICU, Maternity, Med/Surg, and Ambulatory Care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality management initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing practice standards.
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Acquires and maintains skill certification in CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation, IV therapy, Blood Glucose Monitoring, Ventilator, and basic Cardiac Monitoring.
  • Three years' full-time recent acute care experience involving intensive care, obstetrics, and emergency, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
