Position Overview

This position is pivotal in overseeing, managing, and executing the customer service framework within a specified region, ensuring the delivery of outstanding Janitorial Services.
Your role will also involve enhancing revenue streams from current clients and supervising a mobile workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the formulation and execution of customer service plans (e.g., cleaning schedules, budgets, potential upselling opportunities)
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Train subcontractors and staff on mandatory training (WHMIS, Health & Safety, etc.) and company-specific protocols
- Drive process improvements and collaborate with senior management to identify trends and operational gaps.
- Monitor and manage store budgets, track operational expenses, and devise strategies to reduce costs while boosting profitability at the store level.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new business in client locations in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist in the hiring, training, performance management, and termination processes for subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and policies.

Job Requirements

- Availability to promptly address client and subcontractor inquiries and issues
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and nights
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and effectively resolve issues
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong business acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient listening skills, time management, leadership capabilities, and autonomy
- Experience in managing budgets and costs within janitorial operational settings
- Familiarity with floor-care and cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Ability to inspire and lead a mobile team of subcontractors.

Education and Experience

- Degree in business administration or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the janitorial sector or a similarly dynamic operational environment
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
