As the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at BBA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology and practice strategy. Reporting to the President and matrixed to the COO, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the firm's engineering practices, technological systems, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement efforts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology and practice strategy aligned with the firm's goals.
- Develop, implement, and continually improve practice standards to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and business performance.
- Integrate advanced technology and software into engineering to boost efficiency, innovation, and quality.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development within our teams.
- Lead the adoption of new technologies and methods.
- Establish and manage an innovation portfolio.
- Manage internal and external training programs.
- Manage quality systems.
- Collaborate with other senior executives to align best practice goals with overall business objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Report on progress and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical program; a doctoral degree would be a strong asset.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing management and operational technology functions.
- Technical savvy with a deep understanding of engineering development methodologies and emerging trends.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align services and technology initiatives with overall business goals.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
