  • Spearhead the alignment of our firm's technological resources, expertise, and practices with our strategic goals.
  • Develop, implement, and continually improve practice standards to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Ensure practice areas meet industry standards and comply with regulations.
  • Integrate advanced technology and software into engineering to boost efficiency, innovation, and quality, speed of delivery, and quality of deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development within our teams, across all regions, and practices.
  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and methods.
  • Establish and manage an innovation portfolio.
  • Build partnerships with external organizations.
  • Design and implement educational strategies aligned with BBA's strategic goals, and partner with universities, educational consultants, and industry experts to develop curriculums.
  • Manage internal and external training programs.
  • Ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage quality systems.
  • Implement a zero-cost overhead structure for the firm, while tools, software, training, and expertise are billed to our clients.
  • Collaborate with other senior executives to align best practice goals with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Report on progress and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and technology. You will have a proven track record of driving innovation and improvement, and a deep understanding of the engineering sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical program.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including the engineering sector.
  • Ability to understand and challenge our current paths or plans.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing management and operational technology functions.
  • Technical savvy with a deep understanding of engineering development methodologies and emerging trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching innovative, profitable products and solutions.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable solutions and technology strategies.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate people and lead change.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align services and technology initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
